We are proud to introduce our first DirtTalk featured builder, Jim Lane of Horizon Builders. Horizon Builders is a San Angelo company headed by Jim Lane. His family roots go back five generations in San Angelo. After graduating from Texas A&M University Jim worked for 15 years as a CPA before starting his construction company.
Jim’s passion for building quality homes for our community is shown by his involvement with the San Angelo Board of Home Builders as Vice-President and in the National Association of Home Builders’ elite Builder 20 Club. Jim also attained the title Graduate Master Builder by completing difficult and intensive courses of cirriculum through the National Association of Home Builders. His involvement in the building industry for over a decade Jim was able to achieve the status of Certified Graduate Builder Certification.
The majority of Horizon homes are situated in Bentwood Country Club and range in price from $250,000-$400,000. The homes feature upscale touches of design mixed with modern comforts. Granite countertops and crown molding are common features. Soothing paint colors and interesting wall textures give a unique experience to each home. Should you catch Jim in the early stages of construction, you can pick out the design elements that suit your taste.
